I hope you’re doing well. On the 1st Wednesday of February we celebrate World Read Aloud Day, founded by LitWorld thirteen years ago, and this year it’s on the 1st of the month. This celebration is all about bringing awareness to the importance of reading aloud and sharing stories as well as advocating for literacy as a human right.

Lisa Caprelli is a fellow author of 19 books, speaker, and innovator with a passion for studying, expressing, and writing about human behavior, communication, and happiness. She invited me to participate in an eBook giveaway together with many other authors to celebrate this day and I was very happy to participate with “Cousins Forever” in English; on the 31st of January and the 1st of February, you can download for free the eBook editions of 19 books, provided you have an active Amazon account. I don’t regret any of the decisions I’ve taken so far, including giving away eBooks for free and having read-aloud videos of my stories in many languages on Youtube (PEaCH’s channel, bilingualfamily.eu, Erasmus+ project) so that as many kids and families can enjoy them, despite their financial situation. Still, I do get to sell a lot of books, which means my dream of doing this for a living is truly coming alive. Despite January being the month right after the holidays when things are supposed to slow down, over 1,100 books have been purchased so far. This means I owe you more than 1,100 thank you already in 2023!
