I need your help to decide on new bilingual book editions (and other news)!
Hi, I hope you’re doing well :). I need your help to make some decisions, and in return, as always, when I publish the new editions, I’ll offer you the eBooks for free for a couple of days on Amazon.
Back story:
It’s been four years now since the publication of “Where am I from?“, and things have been going great, meaning that my following books have also been well-perceived which gives me the confidence and strength to keep on pushing forward and doing more: 36,000+ books have been purchased in total across all titles and I’ve given for free to our community(ies) 14,000+ ebooks. Plus, you can all access and read on my blog for free the collaboratory book “How to Raise Confident Multicultural Children”.
(If you’re new here, you can read more about me here).
More languages:
Now I’m looking into investing and getting my bilingual books translated into more languages. Plus, “Where am I from?” will be published this year in bilingual editions, and I’d like to check with you first: What are your wishes when it comes to languages and translations? I will then try to match what you wish for with what is technically and financially possible.
Thank you so much for leaving a comment below to let me know.

Where am I from? -> Coming soon in bilingual editions!
PS1. The top photo is from a language school in Copenhagen, Denmark, where they read “Summer with Grandpa” using a projector and did activities based on the book (free links with PDFs here http://maltamum.com/stuff-for-kids/)
PS2. Twelve books about cousins were featured on the blog of Worlds of Words: Center of Global Literacies and Literatures (University of Arizona) in January ‘23, all published by publishers some as big as Abrams, Scholastic, and Penguin, and my little, independently published one, “Cousins Forever” with artwork by Charikleia Arkolaki, is also listed there! What a surprise and what an honor
. Super happy that I came across it, even a year later.
PS3. A couple of months back I discovered an event that had taken place at Lynden Sculpture Garden, USA, and as part of a project titled “HOME Multilingual Story Time”, “Cousins Forever” was read in English, Ukrainian, and was featured in an interactive activity in English and Spanish (video here https://vimeo.com/790132737). Then, I discovered that another event that I wasn’t aware of had taken place, this time at Eagle Pass Public Library, Texas, USA. There had been an Online Spanish Story Hour with Beatriz Valdes reading “Primas para siempre” in Spanish and an Online Story Hour with Isabella Mora reading “Cousins Forever” in English. You can hear them reading the stories here https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1190177228413300 and here https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=722295362352968
PS4. Here you can find libraries around the world that carry some of my titles. Books that are available to borrow in public libraries in countries that I now know of/have found online: Malta, Norway, USA, Australia, Canada, UK, Denmark, Italy, and Switzerland. It makes me feel so happy to find out that more and more librarians discover the books and share them in their respective communities. I’ll be forever grateful to Aase Wivestad and our local library here in Horten, Norway, and David Muscat on behalf of the Literacy Agency and the Malta libraries, who supported the publication of the first book I wrote, and helped me gain confidence during my first steps in the publishing world.
PS5. Thank you so much for taking the time to write reviews such as those on Amazon and Goodreads. I love reading them, and they also help other readers discover these books! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
If I don’t hear from you, have a lovely end of the week.
