What are the costs involved with going to a government primary school?

Are there any parents here who have little ones that go to Pembroke primary school, or any other government primary school? I need an idea of the costs of uniforms and stationery and anything else that has to be provided at the beginning of term including any donations.

Thank you all in advance.

I managed to get an itemised list of the uniform. Will upload a photos of the list later. Re-other items, it depends on what the teacher needs and the class the child is in.

3 of my children are at Pembroke and number 4 will be joining kinder this year. Text books are provided by the school but you need to buy the copybooks. A list is sent out at the beginning of july from the school listing the number of copybooks, covers, project books and flat files you need. It depends on what year your child is in as to the number of books etc. but on average I would say stationary comes to around €20/25. The school also asks for approx €15 for photocopies and workbooks which they supply. Uniform is from Yorkie Summer top is €9.50 Boys bermudas €11.75 girls skirt €11.50 pe shorts €6.25 pe top €6.25 cap €3.75 Winter uniform :shirt €12.25 trousers €14.75 Jersey €18.00 tie€4.50 pe tracksuit €23.50 and anorak €25.50. There is no donation but you are also asked to supply Kitchen roll, liquid soap, packet of wipes and a box of tissues. Any other questions please feel free to ask.

      Hi Michelle,
My wife and I will be relocating to Malts in August with our three year old daughter in August. We have heard very good reports on Pembroke Primary school, but were wondering if you could add your perspective or your views on the school.

      Your feedback would be appreciated.

      Thank you

      David

my son attends Pembroke Santa Clara school (kindergarten) but it really depends which year. For the stationary list, wipes, soap etc. last year i spent about 40 euros.

    Hi
Does anyone know where the catchment area for Pembroke Primary starts and ends? We are moving to Malta next month with two daughters. One is 6 and one is 3.
    Thank you.
