It’s a vice cycle. How to break it? Being ‘tougher than the bullies’ doesn’t make you less of a bully but it does help the kid not to be bullied around… How can a sensitive, low profile child cope with bullies? Would teach my boy to be gentle solve the problem or would it cause him more problems at school?

I have a 15 months old and every time on a play ground I see parents which do everything to raise a violent/aggressive child, not even trying to stop from pushing, hitting or at least to explain that it is not the right way. And behind that there is an excuse: ” because I dont want my child to be bullied at school”, not even considering that he might be a bully.
